Me gustaría creerle, pero no puedo evitar pensar que no ha contado con que a nadie le importa realmente un pico que las cosas estén bien, que lo único que les importa es que todo se haga según sus pequeñas convenciones sociales. Sabina es un tipo dificil de definir. Tiene 14 discos, miles de canciones y ha pasado por todo tipo de ritmos, desde el pop ochentero hasta el tango. Pero la gracia que tiene es que además de músico es poeta, y sus canciones tienen siempre esa gracia y están llenos de juegos de palabras y detalles chistosos.

Ésta canción en particular me parece una de las mas chistosa, si no la mas chistosa de todas. Perfecta para un día como hoy, en que no tengo ganas de irme en la profunda. Disfruten, escuchenla con calma y ríanse un rato.

The Rock Show es una de las canciones que mas me alegran el día. De hecho pensaba postearla la semana pasada pero por cosas de la vida no tuve el tiempo. La estaba escuchando en la calle y pensé en un montón de razones para destacarla. Como por ejemplo éstas:

• Por que el amor adolescente es lo máximo.
• Por que nadie quería reconocerlo, pero a todos les gustaba Blink.
• Por que me recuerda una época de mi vida que no era mejor ni peor, pero si más simple.
• “And if I ever got another chance, I’d still ask her to dance.” es una de las mejores frases ever.
• Por que Blink rulea en vivo. Me hubiera encantado haber ido a un concierto de ellos alguna vez.
• Por que de hecho cuando la escucho caminando por la calle me sube el ánimo caleta.
• Por que la simpleza de una canción de amor media punketa pero no tanto algunos días es justo lo que me hace falta.
• Por que es mi martes, y hago lo que quiero con mi martes.
• Por que “She said “What?” and I told her that I didn’t know.” me recuerda a mi mismo.
• Por que me dan ganas de bailar.
